Come Sing with Us
If you like to sing (crooning in the shower or singing at a party or ball game qualifies), why not raise your singing abilities to a new level of enjoyment. We invite you to take a look at the Oceanaires and consider belonging to our chorus. There’s no formal audition, you don’t need previous chorus experience, and you do not have to read music. We learn our music using specially recorded CDs. If you can carry a tune and stay on pitch, we’ll teach you the rest! You’ll learn chorus singing basics or enhance existing chorus singing skills that you might already have.
Why not stop by a rehearsal meeting sometime. You can sing along with us if you want, or just sit and listen. We meet Tuesday nights from 7:30pm to 10:00pm in the lower level general purpose meeting room of the First Baptist Church of Toms River, located at 700 Main Street. Entrance is behind the church, and there is plenty of parking. We’ll answer any questions you might have and you will see first hand what we do and get a glimpse of why we enjoy our singing hobby so much.
